What a wonderful World! (when you’re kind to yourself:) )

What a wonderful world!

I’ve just been driving through the beautiful autumn countryside, seeing all the colours of Autumn creeping through and now I’m sitting at my desk looking out at the garden, which is full of the last flowering of plants with the apples shining like lights on the tree and I’m just so full of joy and gratitude for this wonderful world of ours and so grateful to be here and enjoying it.

My new regime of giving myself space and listening to myself is paying off. I finally have non- negotiable time for myself every morning, (and yes, sometimes I have to get up early to do that and that means earlier nights, which also feel good:) ) I was prompted by reading Rebecca Campbell’s book, Light is the new black. I met her a while ago and her energy is amazing.:)

I spend some time just breathing, into my belly, pause, out again, pause and surprisingly I found that it made a difference when I walk, I have more breath when I go up hills!

I journal. I’ve always found that I get so many insights when I just write about what’s going on in my life and often I get the solutions too. It feels like I give space for my higher self and source to get through to me.

I ask for help from my higher self, source, guides and angels, something I’ve not been very good at doing, so I must have cleared some of my “ I have to do it on my own,” stuff, which feels good.

I breathe in the light and energy of source and imagine it clearing out anything that’s not for my highest good, from my chakras, my bodies, my aura, my cells and if the sun’s shining, I can imagine it as the light from source and that really helps:)

Lots of simple things, that don’t take a great deal of time, but I feel so much more connected to myself by doing them and that’s what it’s really all about. Whatever we’re not happy about in our lives comes down to our lack of connection to ourselves and of course to source. If I’m unhappy about something, part of me is making it mean something about me and that means that I’m not connected to my real, complete self, I’m connecting to a part of me, often very much younger, that created a belief as a means of survival in difficult times. It means that I can’t see the bigger picture, I can’t connect to my current resources and life becomes difficult. Taking time to connect to your real self, that eternal shining being, gives you a more helpful perspective and a chance to use the tools you’ve gained over your life. Life becomes so much easier. You may not be able to change a situation, but when you change how you feels about it, everything changes. And it’s not about getting mad with the part of you that was so under resourced it’s about loving it and all the shadow side of yourself.

YOU ARE DOING THE VERY BEST YOU CAN ……. ALWAYS!

So be gentle with yourself. Celebrate who you are and where you are. Allow yourself to enjoy the world in whatever way works for you. Bless yourself, you’re doing such a great job of living your life, in your unique way, and that’s what you chose to be here for:)

Here’s a tapalong for you on being gentle with yourself:)

May your week be wonderful and may you let your light shine, just that little bit more than usual:)
